FAQs
What is 'I Can Write Too!' all about?
You can read all about the origins of this website and its objectives at the 'About' tab. Basically, this website contains resources which will be useful for students studying in Singapore primary schools. The focus is on improving writing, composition. Who are these resources for? Anyone can use the resources here. I've not included any copyright disclaimer because I believe in sharing. If you do not study in Singapore, you are most welcome to explore how children learn English writing here too. Parents / Caregivers & students - These resources are definitely for you. Fellow Educators, Tutors - If you like my work, feel free to use them. It would be great if you can introduce my website to your students. Publishing Co. / Publishers - If you like my work, do approach me for permission to print or inclusion in your online site. Please be aware that the resources here are for non-commercial use, unless permission has been obtained to publish my work or derivations of my work for commercial gains. Can I still submit my composition for your feedback? (Apologies. At the moment, I will not be able to provide this service as I am fully engaged teaching in school!) Sure! I think being willing to share is a virtue. Just email me your writing! I'd love to see it. Do give me some time to respond. Work at HOME is NEVER ending! Do be aware that I will only be able to publish my responses to your work on my blog. This is because this web builder does not support 'strikethrough' and 'insert symbol' functions. Please do adhere to the following Terms & Conditions when submitting your child's composition. Why do you still have ads? Firstly, I do wish to supplement the family income (sigh...peanuts...when will I even see the money?)... There are bills that need to be paid. Secondly, I think ads add 'life' to my otherwise static and wordy posts. Personally, I do enjoy ads as long as they do not interfere with what I want to get to initially. In the blog, I had little control over placement of ads as there isn't a lot of flexibility. Hopefully, with this webpage, the ads can be more relevant and aesthetically pleasing. How do I contact you? You can use the contact button or email me directly at [email protected] I'll try to help. But the best person to talk to would still be you child's teacher or tutor. Please also understand that I may need a few days to respond. I am also not an expert at child psychology or special learning needs. I can give suggestions based on my experience as a teacher. |
